The Amersfoort English Book Club meets on the first Thursday of every month at De Ontmoeting to discuss a book chosen by the group in a social and open atmosphere.
We start at 20:00 by sharing why this month’s book was selected, and the conversation naturally flows into our thoughts, impressions, and personal responses.
Our group includes people from all over the world, both native and non-native English speakers. We span a wide range of ages and backgrounds, which makes our conversations lively and diverse. We read and speak in English during the meetings, and we ask that you’ve read the book before joining the meeting.
Participation is free, and everyone is welcome!
